Mana Pools Zimparks Tented Camps

Self-catering tented facilities in Mana Pools National Park situated near the same area as Gwaya Camp, just upstream from the Zimparks’ lodges near the HQ at Nyamepi.

Each unit consists of a large canvas tent built on a raised concrete and stone platform, with a small, shaded veranda at the front. The tents are fully furnished with two beds (a third can be added to two of the larger units) and a small sitting area. All bed linen is provided. A door at the back leads into an en-suite bathroom with shower, flushing toilet, basin and hot and cold running water.

Each unit has its own small kitchen block adjacent to the tent. It is well-ventilated and ‘baboon-proofed’, and is fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge/freezer and sink as well as kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. There is also barbecue stand in front of each unit. Electricity and hot water are supplied throughout the camp via solar systems and all units are serviced daily by ZimParks personnel.
